What Affects What We Pay
Every offer is based on the watch in front of us. These are the factors that matter:
Reference and production year — Certain references carry significant premiums. Desirable dial variants and early production examples command more.
Originality — All-original dials, hands, bezels, and cases hold considerably more value. Replaced components reduce it.
Condition — Surface wear, case sharpness, and crystal condition all factor in. A case that's never been polished retains more collector value than one that's been refinished.
Service history — A well-documented service history adds confidence. Unserviced watches are still purchased but valued accordingly.
Box and papers — Full sets command stronger prices. Missing documentation reduces the offer but doesn't prevent a sale.
