Our Story

1978

Great Things Have Small Beginnings

Louis Martin opened its doors in the latter years of the 1970s. With its prime location within Rockefeller Center and just blocks away from the Diamond District of New York City, Louis Martin quickly became a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.

2000

A Grand Re-Opening

Louis Martin Jewelers reopens in a new location within the Rockefeller complex, now with two entrances, large window-spaces along 50th Street, and across the street from the iconic Radio City Music Hall.

For years, our vantage point along 50th Street offered a stone's throw from Fifth Avenue, and an even closer view of the Rockefeller Rink and Christmas Tree.

From Mine to Shine

A gorgeous, curved mural swept across the top of the store, depicting the long journey of a diamond, from the mines to the workstation of a skilled artisan-jeweler.

2018 - Today

Celebrating 40 Years

In 2018, Louis Martin Jewelers gets a facelift and a complete renovation begins: a new architectural blueprints get drawn, and work begins towards an all-new interior design.
